I received an arrangement of the most beautiful orange gerbera daisies & hydrangea this afternoon from someone very special..... They took my breath away, actually....on several different levels. They were unusual. They were healthy and fresh. The quality of the vase was out of the ordinary. The woman who delivered my flowers was so sweet ...and I will never forget her saying, "You're one lucky lady!" She's right there! Then I called the florist to tell them how breathtaking the flowers were.....spoke to Janelle....lovely again! And, based on what she told me, she followed very specific 'instructions' for the flowers..... I'm 57, as I told her, and I have sung all of my life on stages all over the world. I've received a couple of flower arrangements in my life. But these flowers surpassed most every arrangement (if not ALL) I have ever received! THEY ARE STUNNING! Not to mention the fact that I live in southeast Austin....and they are located on Burnet Road.....sorta takes 'going the extra mile' to a new level, wouldn't You say? King Florist of Austin is a keeper....and then some!

I found King of Yelp and they had great reviews and a coupon so I gave them a call. My sister's birthday was the following day and the designer was able to recommend an arrangement that my sister absolutely loved. She sent me a picture (since I live in Washington) and they certainly looked beautiful.

"Not often do I find a place of business that makes me want to give a positive review. That being said, King Florist has changed that completely! Last week my wife had a special event in which she was honored and received an Excellence Award from the University. I wanted to get her something a little special and some flowers she could share with her office. As I clicked around online I found lots of florist in Austin doing the exact same thing as the next shop. Through recommendation, I viewed the King Florist website and I knew this was the place I had to order her flowers from. The designs were like nothing else online and with the prices comparable to any other site I had been to. Not only did they work with me to complete the order online, they also followed up by phone for final details. Later on that day, I received a call from my wife telling me how beautiful the arrangement was and how exceptional it made her feel. "I have used several florists in the Austin areas but none were ever as consistent as King Florist.

Whenever I call (I'm sorry, V-Day, Anniversary, etc.) they are ready to help. Not only do they help me pick an arrangement but they keep track of previous orders so I don't accidentally duplicate one (big plus for forgetful folks like myself).

The greatest thing about King is the enjoyment my wife gets from the arrangements. From the envy of her coworkers to the longevity of the flowers, she is one happy camper."

"King Florist Rocks! I called several other Austin florists and none of them wanted to deliver flowers to my sick friend who needed cheering up. All I asked for is a large bunch of Dutch tulips in a vase anchored with stones delivered the next day. What was delivered was so beautiful that my friend said she had to touch them to be sure they were real because they were so perfect. King Florist designed a beautiful arrangement around my request, delivered it on time and called me to confirm the delivery had been made. They definitely cheered up my friend and gained a loyal customer."

"Until my experience with King Florist, I resent going to a florist because most of the florist in town offers you nothing more than a fresh cut flowers in a vase and cost you $70-100. For a similar cost as others, King Florist fixed me up with designer's floral arrangement that's stunting to those appreciates the real artistic side of the flower arrangements. I'm telling you, their floral arrangements are something you would only find in a floral books and magazines covers. If you want to impress your companion with wow's, this is the place."

"This morning I woke up, and knew I had to do something.  To express myself to someone near and so dear to my soul.  Texting, IMing, myspacing, craigslisting and even yelping secret messages back and forth was not going to do it this time.  This was my final attempt to clearly get things off my chest and show this sparkle of my heart what she meant to me.  I looked up some reviews of florists and King's was consistently in the 5 star category (if a little on the pricey side).  But understand this, frugal is fine for day to day, especially in this economy, but when you have a once in a lifetime, last effort, need-to-show someone how perfect they are, you don't skimp.  I chose the flowers.  I stayed clear of roses, since I wanted this person to know how complete my love for her was, and not just romantic.  They had exactly what I wanted.  Deep vivid red tulips, purple irises (the first kind I ever got her) and some great white snap dragons.  The florist also suggested another white flower, but the name eludes me.  They asked when I needed it, and I told them 9 days ago would have been good, but I'd settle for ASAP.  I went to the gym, home to shower, and back in and the arrangement was a perfect reflection of the object of my desire.  The colors went together perfectly, the vase, the river rocks.  They even had a handy box stand so I could take it over in my car without tipping them over.  So, even though I choked on my words, I believe the flowers spoke perfectly.  It didn't go so well for me, but King's gave it all they had and at least one of us was very successful."

"I have been getting my flowers at King florist since I moved to Austin in 2004. I really like the friendly folks in the store and the fact that if you have the time, you can watch your bouquet being made. Mostly I used to call in most of my orders until I got on their website and now, I go online for my orders. My favorite is the "Moulin Rouge," and the "Rose Cube." It's as simple as look, add to cart and pay. The best part is that the bouquet looks just as good when it gets to my door as on the picture and my wife has not been disapointed so far. I would not dream of getting my flowers anywhere else."

"If you are looking for a no hassle, last minute florist with an extremely professional experience, then King Florist is the shop you should use. I called with less than 24 hour notice and requested 34 dozen roses. I also told the shop that "I may need them, but I would call with a 1.5 hour notice." Not only did they agree to these terms, but King Florist was extremely professional, pleasant, and on time. I give them the highest recommendation possible."
